The candidate for this position will have the following experiences and expertise: Excellent knowledge of the best available tools, software, applications, and systems that support Unified communications including audio, video, and web conferencing and IM/Presence.Direct experience in implementing messaging, voice and video solutionsHands-on knowledge of enterprise repository tools, network modeling tools, network mapping tools, and network profiling toolsExperience with a wide range of UC platforms, including Cisco(UC platform) and AvayaExperience with voice and Data platforms (TDM PBX, IP-PBX, Video MCU) Voice and Data NetworksDetailed knowledge of MS Lync (Skype for Business)Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, switches, routers and firewalls, network bandwidth management.Experience of related vendor technologies such as Polycom, Plantronics and Audiocodes.Experience of Managing 3rd party services and interacting collaboratively with them Educational/Certification/Experience Requirements: 7+ years of relevant work experience related to phone technology such as: UCaaS, MS Lync, PBX integration, SIP trunks and/or third party audio, web, and video conferencing solutions and their integration with MS Lync and other systems.Bachelor s degree in a related field from an accredited university Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Telecommunications Engineering preferred Must possess 1 or more of the following certifications preferred or equivalent years of experience: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) CollaborationMS Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) - CommunicationCisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) - Collaboration 6 Month Deliverables: Establish and document standards for unified communications with the managed service providersDocumented improvements to the client technical infrastructureDocumented approvals on all global projects for the Unified communications componentCreation and maintenance of technology roadmapsCompliance with technical infrastructure architecture standards, processes, principles, and methodologiesCompile metrics for project adherence to UC technical standardsStrategic and tactical definition of architecture transition plansReviews of proposed technology architectures, both service based and custom development, for technical complianceDevelop business case/design for expansion/upgrade of aged PBX and VoIP, implementing SIP Trunking or other technologies to reduce the overall communications costs and minimize the risks from the current environmentEnsure that the current provider will build WAN Bandwidth Estimation Model (BEM) to objectively specify Bandwidth requirements at a given site for UCRecommend security architecture / policies for diverse support of Smartphone and other mobile devices To apply for this position and setup an interview with the client please click on apply and send in your resume along with your contact info.
