Auto req ID xxxx6BR Job Title Network Administrator Country United States Posting Location Auburn Hills, MI Job Description In this position the person will manage networks­ Wide Area, Local Area and Wireless networks. This person will give operational support to engineers and other users for network issues, problem solving and suggestions and implementations of new technology. In the team they will communicate with vendors, competence centers, customers and internal operation units to optimize the current infrastructure, minimize risks and design new concepts. This includes following market trends, managing external service providers, doing capacity management as well as selection and ordering of software&hardware. They will install and release new network technologies and work to upgrade exisiting ones based on new requirements and increased capacity needs. As an active project member they will work with us to follow the global footprint of our business units and support the networks for the Multi­Petabyte storage platform with a High­Performance­Computing and client virtualization infrastructure to Europe, Asia and NAFTA.
