Currently, this Tier 1 automotive components supplier needs talented students to fill the role of a Desktop Support College Co-Op. Job Responsibilities: IT Operations Support: Capturing of all reported request and issues in the ITSM application. Communicates courteously with customers via phone, electronically and in person. Handles queries in the best interest of both customer and the company. Advises users on appropriate action. Handle queries from difficult customers diplomatically. Identifies, researches, and resolves customer issues using computer system and available resources. Identifies and escalates priority issues. Follows up customer calls to confirm successful issue resolution. Documents all calls according to IT standards and operating procedures. Building of new hardware and installing of OS and software on devices. Configuration of users profiles and system applications Development of user training material Performs other duties and special tasks as assigned.
