At MAHLE Filter Systems North America, Inc. in Troy, Michigan as a Development Engineer Development Engineer Responsibilities: - Development Engineer (DE) is the technical leader of the Product Development Team (PDT) starting at the customer quotation phase. - Responsible to ensure customer requirements are met regarding product fit and function until production release. - Achievement of product related goals in regards to function, quality, cost and timeline at the respective milestones and quality gates. - Responsible for budget inputs for product. - Coordinate the work packages of Development and ensure timely decisions in Core Team and Extended Team. - Create transparency of the Sub-team progress and ensure proper reporting. - Ensure requirements and confirm feasibility (related to product functions) and create lists of requirements for purchased components.
