Global Data, Insights and Analytic Team Position:ClientGlobal Data, Insights and Analytic Team are a new and rapidly expanding group within Company.The team is positioned to work across all areas throughout Company (e.g. Purchasing, Product Development, Credit, Marketing and Sales, Manufacturing, Finance, etc.).The role of the Data Governance Analyst is to make sure that data quality, data management, data policies, business process managementand risk management around the handling of data at clientare followed.The analyst will ensure that clients data are accurate, consistent, reliable and protected.The Data governance analyst will make recommendations for alternative ways to improve data quality and data standardization.They will work closely with legal and the regional regulatory authorities to understand and implement data protection guidelines for data usage, data sharing, and data security.They will work with the data scientist and data management teams to make sure data are accessible to the right people for the right duration.Candidates should possess good SQL skills, exposure to SAS and HADOOP is a definite plusExperience with Data discovery and management tools e.g Informatica; IBM Data Stage/Quality Stage/Info Analyzer etc. are a plus.Candidates must have good presentation skills5+ years in IT5+ yrs. of bus experience dealing with AnalyticsBachelor degree from accredited university required, Masters Degree is desirableSkills Preferred:Strong collaboration and communications skills, ability to engage with both upper management as well as peersDemonstrated problem formulation and problem solving skillsAbility to take complex problems and break them down to create and implement an action planUnderstanding of analytical frameworks in a big data env. 2 yrs. in a Big data env. is prefferedG:TECH Services, Inc. is a leading certified recruitment and placement firm that specializes in providing highly skilled staff in technical fields such as engineering, IT, procurement, finance and accounting.
