Title: Computer Engineer – Cyber Security (15-xxxx2) Location : Warren, MI Base Compensation : Open and Competitive Type of hire : Contract Position Responsibilities: Serve as a senior computer engineer and information systems security engineer (ISSE) with responsibilities to support conformance to Army and DOD Cyber security requirements with respect to Ground Vehicle Platform Systems. Provide Tactical Information Assurance security Engineering Support to various Program and Product Managers, the company, and other organizations with respect to engineering IA and Cyber security protections into tactical ground system platforms. The nature of the work performed requires, as the primary qualification requirement, expert knowledge of the fundamentals and principles of IA and Cyber security; professional knowledge computer engineering theory and techniques; knowledge of computer hardware, systems software, computer system architecture, and integration in order to review threat and vulnerability assessments and determine appropriate measures to effectively manage programs. Communicate with Army Cyber, US Cyber, and Army CIO on Cyber security Vulnerabilities and protection mechanisms required for systems being developed. Some of the vulnerabilities that are required to be addressed may be at the Top Secret level. US Citizenship Applicants must possess a degree in professional engineering Top Secret Security Clearance is required Cyber security Certifications preferred Previous hardware experience (ie electronics/computer engineering) Experience in software development; process and product quality assurance; configuration management; and process improvement. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency (knowledge, skills, and abilities) in the following areas: Knowledge of Information Assurance Compliance Knowledge of Software and Security Engineering Knowledge of System Security Architecture Knowledge of Systems Requirement Planning and Development
