The Application Support Analyst works as a member of ourteam to ensure the successful configuration and delivery of EmpCenter. The Application Support Analyst will be responsible for configuring EmpCenter according to the customer's documented timekeeping, scheduling and labor tracking business requirements.
Responsibilities
:
Handle complex issues including administrative and configuration challenges
:
Write complex formulas that leverage mathematical and/or programming skills
:
Perform unit and system testing of configured application
:
Collaborate with team members to complete project assignments by set deadlines
:
Provide training to clients, as needed
:
Responsive and follows through on customer requirements in a professional and timely manner
Requirements
:
Minimum of 2 years working with SQL and writing complex queries
:
Minimum of 2 years working with JavaScript, HTML or other scripting tools
:
Familiarity with business applications, such as Excel or DBMS systems
:
Excellent oral and written communication skills
:
Works well independently and as a team member
:
Works well with multiple clients concurrently in a customer focused environment
:
Experience providing application support for complex software systems
:
Logical and technical mindset for analyzing problems and identifying root causes
:
Sense of urgency during Go Live dates and adhere to flexible work schedule to meet project requirements
Desired Skills
:
Programming experience utilizing Java, C, C++ or 4GL programming languages
:
Familiarity with at least one report writer such as Crystal Reports, Cognos, Actuate, etc.
:
SQL Report creation experience
Travel
:
10 : 20 as required.
Education
:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
