Responsibilities
Engage with potential customers; prepare and present demonstrations of VDMS solutions; address technical questions that arise throughout the sales process
Proactively lead all technical aspects of the pre-sales process, including product and solution briefings, performance testing, proof-of-concept evaluations and the coordination of any supporting technical resources
Consult to enable the configuration and development of integration strategies of our solutions in the proof-of-concept and go-live stages of our interactions with the customer
Identify possible technical risks and lead any cross-functional mitigation strategies that might be required
Qualifications
Proven success working with customers to design solutions
Broad, high-level knowledge of Internet architectures
Proven ability to design, direct, document and implement solutions that involve caching, acceleration of dynamic content and media delivery
Ability to proactively manage projects with little supervision
Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal)
Savvy with customer-facing whiteboard and WebEx presentations
Demonstrated success managing relationships with customers and sales teams
Superior organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to creatively solve complex problems
Solid understanding of HTTP, caching and streaming technologies - CDN experience is a plus
Excited at the sight of a command line
BA or BS required - Masters degree is a plus
