The Regional Digital Director is responsible for leading digital strategy, structure and process as well as achieving department sales goals. Engages daily with sales managers, account executives, and ad operations with a high focus on execution and accountability.Proactively identifies and addresses the digital marketing needs of local and regional businesses. Communicates product and sales strategy both vertically and horizontally throughout the organization to ensure cohesive messaging and continuity among key stakeholders. Leverage and integrate Digital First Media s full product portfolio to help facilitate a culture of cross product selling, creating new opportunities from existing print customers, as well as developing a digital-only customer base. Drive and protect maximum profit margin across entire digital portfolio. Grow and cultivate digital culture inside-out, furthering our reputation as a premier and holistic solution for digital marketing and services.Essential Duties and Responsibilities The Regional Digital Director will develop cross-product sales strategies to reach expected revenue levels. Using creativity, business basics and customer knowledge, the Regional Digital Director will assist in leading team of managers (sales and operations) to develop customized solutions for new and existing customers. The Regional Digital Director must be confident to present solutions to a large group or individuals and be articulate in communicating strategy and revenue expectations. As part of managing overall performance, the Regional Digital Director will provide weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including revenue projections, end of month performance summary by category, sales lead and strategy. Using this information, the Regional Digital Director will identify new revenue opportunities and develop strategies to secure them. The Regional Digital Director will assist in coaching, leading and developing managers and account executives, but also remain active and engaged involved with key advertisers and agencies in the marketplace. Relies on industry experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works effectively under general supervision of Regional Vice President of Sales. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, a candidate must be a creative big thinker, with extensive experience in digital products and platforms. Must foster collaboration and team work in a positive sales environment. The ideal candidate will have experience creating high levels of accountability and celebrate success. Must possess excellent presentation, written/verbal communication, organization, interpersonal, and analytical skills. Ideal candidate will be self-directed, able to react to change productively, and meet projected deadlines. Must be proficient in excel, report development and data organization.Education and/or Experience A minimum of 5-7 years in a digital media marketing or advertising role. At minimum of 3 years in sales management. College degree preferred.Other Technical/Professional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities. Experienced with a PC: PowerPoint, Excel and spreadsheet skills. Well-developed oral and written communication skills Knowledge of basic principles of entrepreneurship, economics and current market trends. Skilled in negotiation.
