Title: Transaction Advisory Services - Mergers & Acquisitions - Manager Location: MI-Detroit Transaction Advisory Services - Mergers & Acquisitions - Manager. Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Detroit, MI. Provide a full range of operationally focused services including M&A Integration, extensive financial analysis, valuation analysis, and pro forma financial modeling. Work with cross-functional teams made up of members of both the acquiring and acquired organizations. Advise companies regarding strategic and corporate finance alternatives including identifying key issues and potential areas of transaction risk, and performing in-depth industry, market and company-specific research. Prepare the scope of work, clear conflicts, budgets, and setting the staffing plan. Demonstrate excellent skills in project execution, project management, problem-solving, and facilitation. Confer with personnel concerned to ensure successful functioning of newly implemented systems or procedures. Assist in identifying risks and issues related to integration planning, timelines, and functional areas. Design, evaluate, recommend and approve plan changes. Develop excellent client relationships at the appropriate client level and be responsible for a high degree of client satisfaction with the engagement process and work products. Identify business development opportunities to sell work through development of internal and external client relationship networks. Prepare presentations and attending high-level meetings with clients to help sell work. Requirements: Must have a Bachelor''s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, plus 5 years of post-bachelor''s, progressive related work experience; OR a Master''s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, plus 4 years of related work experience. Must have experience leading and managing in complex business environments. Must have in-depth automotive industry experience. Of the required experience, must have 4 years of combined experience in at least one of the following: financial analysis, valuation analysis, and financial modeling. Must have strong experience preparing presentations. Must have experience participating in high-level client meetings. Must have willingness and ability to travel. Travel is approximately 75%.
