The Learning Development Coordinator is a member of the Site Engineering and Maintenance team located in Wyandotte, MI and is responsible for providing technical guidance for the safe and efficient execution of daily engineering and maintenance activities for the Wyandotte site and Regional Service Center. Ensures that objectives for EH and S, quality, productivity and personnel development are met.
Responsibilities include:
: Serves as the training expert for engineering and maintenance groups on site to ensure specific training and standards are met.
: Provide professional team development training to drive continuous improvement.
: Develop, implement and document all training curriculum, including specific processes, standard operating procedures, work instructions, lean, technical skills, refresher training, qualification, and new employee orientation.
: Develop, implement and document all procedures within the department for specific safety, lean, engineering, and maintenance related tasks and should ensure that these tasks are aligned with the proper BASF standards, regulations and policies.
: Collaborate with Wyandotte LDCs, other sites' LDCs and the Regional Service Centers to drive best practices and consistency of training across the region.
: Establish relationship with Plant Managers, operations engineers, supervisors, and EHS staff to support the area's training activities.
: Develop, implement and document a standardized training process that complies with all BASF Regulatory, Corporate and Site maintenance and engineering requirements (EHS, PSM, ISO, GMP, FDA,TS, eta)
: Work with the Wyandotte and Regional LDCs to develop unit Maintenance processes, tools and templates to deliver standardized training both via SuccessFactors and classroom.
: Develop, implement, document, maintain, update and audit all Site maintenance and engineering training documents per employee. Update procedures as required by MOCs, PHA's and other periodic reviews.
: Maintain, update and audit all Site maintenance and engineering employees' progression documents per employee. Discuss employee progression steps with supervisor for department alignment.
: Coordinate and document all Monthly Safety meetings, CBT's, Mobile equipment, Crane training, Fall protection, Fire extinguisher training, all safety training, emergency response training, etc.
: Coordinate and conduct Maintenance Scholarship employee orientation. Monitor scholastic progression and GPA.
: Coordinate refresher training as designed within the developed programs.
: Assist in the development of ideas/strategies for maintenance and engineering specific auditing and training.
Qualifications : BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
Requirements:
: Bachelors Degree and 4 or more years of professional experience in a chemical
