Responsibilities Assist and work with senior team members to research relevant engineering, technical and regulatory Information in order to ensure proposed network projects will be compliant with the various FAA a FCC rules. Demonstrate knowledge of various systems such as NWF (Network Flow), GeoPlan, FAAFCCSitesafe websites, EME evaluation and Regulatory39s VZReg tool. Assist Engineers with project regulatory filings, red-line compliance issues and other NWF forms to expedite projects. Raise visibility to the team and manager on any compliance issues throughout the MIK region. Prepare and submit filings to the FAAFCC as needed. Filings would include, but not limited to the following cellular, microwave, sitepathfrequency bu out notifications, license renewals, license build-outs, Quiet Zones, Environmental Assessments, waivers and Special Temporary Authorizations (STA). Update site and database records as changes get made to the network to ensure accurate data. Work regulatory issues that get sent back to engineering from the regulatory team and if actions can39t be taken to fix them, engage the engineers with what is needed to fix them. Participate in conference calls regarding FAA and FCC rule interpretations and regulatory for the entire MIK region. Participate in training as needed to gain better understanding of rules and internal processes. Monitoring and tracking of license filings including cellular, microwave, site build-outs (NT), renewals license build-outs (NT), Quiet Zone and Environmental Assessments. Must be able to project manage multiple initiatives at the same time. This includes creating trackers, holding conference calls and raising awareness to the team and manager on the status of such projects. Knowledge of AWS strategies, LTE build plans, small cell deployments are a must. Attending team meetings while communicating status of all projects to team and manager is required.
