Real Estate Negotiator Job - General Motors (Detroit, MI) in Detroit, Michigan For Sale

Higher level of independent judgment is utilized, however, will receive general direction from supervisor as well as senior project managers.
- Makes site studies for purchase or lease of real properties
- Prepares reports relative to utilities, transportation and other facility requirements
- Evaluates and estimates fair market value of land and/or buildings for divisional and Corporate use
- Interfaces with local authorities relative to zoning, building codes, construction matters, environmental, and all governmental restrictions affecting the use of real property
- Nearly constant contact with others outside the work group
- Negotiates for and completes real estate transactions
- Knowledge of real estate law and practices
- High level of oral and written communications skills
- High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult
- Very high level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
Qualifications
Education and Training
- College graduate or equivalent training
- Preferred Salespersons or State Brokerage License in Real Estate
- Preferred advanced business or law degree
