Property Insurance Analyst - (Detroit) in Detroit, Michigan For Sale

Property Insurance Analyst- Detroit The Real Estate Insurance Analyst is responsible for securing and tracking property insurance for over 1,000 real estate parcels, including loan receivables secured by real property. Position shall serve as the liaison between the Trust Real Estate Department and Third Party Insurance Broker. Position Competences: Successful incumbents have a strong understanding of real estate insurance concepts and terminology with the ability to communicate such verbally and in written correspondence, are dedicated to customer service, are able to work autonomously, give consideration to detail and problem solving. Position Responsibilities: * Process real property assets to master liability policy * Identify Insurance coverage at time of property set up * Add property asset to master policy for full coverage or other necessary coverage * Coordinate outside policies with property managers and trust administrators * Process payment for coverage as necessary in a timely manner * Maintain Third Party Vendor and Internal database as necessary * Track exceptions to Department's insurance policy * Maintain and review Workers Comp policy and update corresponding Excel spreadsheet * Maintain proper coverage for Loan Receivables secured by real estate * Set up/ Remove/ Maintain Loan Payables on internal database, Trust Accounting System and corresponding Excel spreadsheet Relocation Relocation assistance is not available.
