The Human Resources Generalist will spend a majority of their first few months at Zeal Credit Union learning our payroll processes; which include an in depth understanding of basic accounting principles (T:accounts and General Ledgers). The HRG will also learn about our recruiting processes; becoming intimately involved in the development of our proactive talent management strategy. In addition, this person will be overseeing multiple projects as they relate to human resources. You should be very comfortable with compiling, interpreting, and analyzing data and metrics. We are looking for someone who picks things up quickly and can really hit the ground running. Positive attitude, goal oriented, tact and strong attention to detail is a must Qualifications The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands on experience in the following areas: 2+ years of Human Resources broad, general experience including full life cycle recruiting, and intimate knowledge of payroll processing, and project managementexperience with ADP a plus Strong background in general HR policies and understanding of employment law regulations as well as local, state and federal employment requirement Experience using search engines and databases to identify and qualify candidates for various positions at the Credit Unioncredit union or banking HR experience a plus Full proficiency in Micosoft suite of products, including: Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint and Internet Explorer Social media savvy (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram) Superior verbal and written communication skills Ability to take ownership and showcase interpersonal skillset Interact and collaborate professionally with a diverse range of customers, and co:workers, individually and as a part of a team Highly effective problem solving ability Exhibited ability to make strong appropriate judgments and decisions with professional etiquette Self:driven with the ability to recognize improvement on processes and take initiative to execute changes Focused attention to detail, well:organized and demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple:tasks, achieve desired results and adapt favorably to changing priorities Education and Experience 2+ years Human Resources experience Bachelors Degree in Management, Business, or Human Resources (or related experience of 2+ years) Project management experience preferred Accounting experience a plus At Zeal Credit Union, we are passionate about our members and we work hard every day to help them achieve their financial goals.
