An international leader in the automotive plastics industry with a focus on the chrome plating of decorative trim. We are looking for an Office Assistant and Accounts Payable employee to join our North American division based in Michigan, USA. Prior experience with accounting software including QuickBooks is required. Office Assistant Responsibilities Include but not Limited to: Excellent customer service skills Generating and submitting purchase orders and invoices Following up invoice due date, account receivable and account payable Book keeping Assisting with all aspects of administrative management, directory maintenance, logistics, equipment inventory and storage Managing inventory of assets and supplies Coordinating between departments and operating units in resolving day-to-day administrative and operational problems Scheduling and coordinating meetings, interviews, events and other similar activities Sending out and receiving mail and packages Preparing business correspondence, typically using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) Data entry using 10-key keypad Sending taxes Managing files Prepare and distribute payroll for staff Performing multifaceted general office support Preparing meeting minutes, meeting notes and internal support materials. Sending and receiving forms for the company All day-to-day operation matters Strong work ethic Productivity Professionalism Problem-solving and critical thinking skills Technical skills Interpersonal skills Communication skills Customer focus Teamwork and collaboration skills Accounting software, including QuickBooks Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast pace working environment US citizen or US Permanent Resident.
