RESIDENT ENGINEER : DIRECT HIRE : ENTRY LEVEL : WARREN, MIAs the Resident Engineer for this prominent, global supplier that is opening a new division in North America, you will be the face of the company to our main customer, GM on a daily basis.ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:The positon incumbent ensures that- Focus on sales activities related to presentation preparation, presentations to customers, technical negotiations following discussions, and coordination of project strategy- Program management : participating in customer PDT meeting, tracking program timing, sample deliveries and drawing submission- Electrical engineering focus : coordination of engineering changes, specifications and requirements- Benchmarking competitive parts- Market analysis on technical and product trends- Track regulatory requirementsREQUIREMENTS- 2:5 years of professional experience for electronics engineering job- 2D and 3D modeling skills using CATIA or some design tools and mechanical drawing skill would be a plus.- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering- Travel Requirements : Approximately 10 on average.- Must be able to work effectively in a fast paced environment where constructive criticism is encouraged.WORKING CONDITIONS- This position involves working indoors around mechanical and hazards, fumes, irritants, with exposure to cold, heat and high noise levels under adverse conditions- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.
