Product Release Engineer - Dimensional Control Systems (troy, michigan) in Detroit, Michigan For Sale

Job Description:
This position will be responsible for the engineering, design, development, timing and production release of body components. Other responsibilities will include quality improvements, weight reduction, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement initiatives including communicating technical product status to management.
The successful candidate would be responsible for design and development activity of body exterior components and assemblies. Duties would also include the management of quality issue resolution, program time lines, plant launch activity, supplier interface and testing validation.
Candidates should be familar with design, development, and release of:
under:body shielding
active grill shutters
aerodynamic devices
spoilers
sill cladding
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering is required. Preferred candidates will also be knowledgeable in use of Unigraphics NX and Team Center with minimum of 2 years of experience in NX in a production release environment, as well as knowledge in regards to plastics technology, aerodynamics and GD and T.
